London Blue Topaz

 

There are 3 hues of blue that white topaz is treated to by heating & neutron/electron treatment:

• Sky Blue Topaz

• Swiss Blue Topaz

• London Blue Topaz

 

London Blue Topaz can be achieved by bombarding the stones with heat, neutron and electron treatment. The stones become radioactive after Neutron treatment and can only be released into the market for sale after they have passed the certified radiation level.

The color of London Blue topaz is permanent.
